Following the retirement announcement from Dr. Briggs on Tuesday, I want to provide an update about the search process for Berry College's next President.
I am pleased to announce that we have completed the appointment of the Presidential Search Committee which will convene in the coming days. The Committee’s first action will be to select a national executive search firm, likely by the end of April.
Committee members will also collect input this next month from various constituencies regarding the desired characteristics in the college’s next president. This information will be compiled and discussed by the Board of Trustees at its meeting in May.
A Presidential Profile will be developed, and we anticipate the search will begin in June.

I am excited and confident that this group will work diligently to find the next great leader for Berry.
