Want to be a Career Peer?
We are hiring for the 2024-2025 academic year! We’re building a team of students who are passionate about helping their classmates succeed at Berry and beyond. You don’t have to know all of the ins-and-outs of resumes or interviewing to join our team - we’ll train you on the career development content. What you do need are strong interpersonal communication skills, an ability to manage multiple projects at a time, an eye for details, and a willingness to learn.
What You Will Be Doing
Career Peers support the CPPD by providing one-on-one career development consultations, such as resume reviews and mock interviews, as well as presentations and workshops.
Career Development at Berry
Our goal is to help all students, no matter where they are in their college or career journey, prepare for their next chapter. Career development isn't just about helping students get jobs - we want students to leave Berry with a stronger sense of identity, purpose, and vocation. We aim to cultivate strong relationships with individual students as well as groups and offices across campus so that we can best serve the Berry community.
How DO I Apply?
To apply to be a Career Peer Advisor, complete the Application Form. In addition to the application, you will need to submit your resume and a faculty or staff referral to Sue Dudt, Director of Career Development, at sdudt@berry.edu.
Applications are due Friday, March 22 at 5:00 p.m. We will conduct interviews with qualified candidates after the deadline has passed.
