What was your favorite college course, and why did it leave a lasting impression?
Psychology: Being the people person I am, I really enjoyed learning how the human mind works. It has really helped me in many areas of my career.
What’s your favorite Berry event or campus tradition?
The Viking Walk, when the football team walks to the stadium accompanied by the Viking DrumLine, Viking cheerleaders and the Vikettes dance team. I used to coach football here at Berry for quite some time, and it's a really awesome tradition that gives you goosebumps being a part of it or just watching!
If you could travel anywhere for a week, where would you go and what would you do there?
I would love to go to Greece! That area is absolutely beautiful! I would EAT, sail, and visit all the historic structures.
If you could have dinner with a historical figure, who would it be and why?
Jesus; to have dinner with the creator of the universe face-to-face as a man would be once in a lifetime!
If you weren’t working in higher education, what career do you think you’d be pursuing?
Coaching football. I coached college football for 15+ years before I transitioned to Admissions to learn Berry at a deeper level and serve as an ambassador of the institution. I also have 3 young kids and serve them and my beautiful wife the best I can. I really enjoyed coaching and would be pursuing that if I was not in my current profession.
