Favorite spot on campus: There are so many spots on Mountain Campus that draw me every time I am on campus. I love to visit the Old Mill, and I love Frost Chapel where one of my daughters got married.
Favorite thing to do in Rome: There is a wonderful little Thai restaurant on Broad Street called Yummy Thai! Best Red Curry ever!
What was your favorite college course, and why did it leave a lasting impression?
Business management with Dale Davis. He was such an inspiring professor who was so professional and had an amazing resume. He was a formidable but very fair human being.
What’s your favorite Berry event or campus tradition?
Mountain Day continues to be a highlight for me every year - I always build it into my schedule. We have such a great group of friends who come every year, and now with football, it just adds so much fun!
If you could travel anywhere for a week, where would you go and what would you do there?
I am headed to Prague and am planning on doing some hikes and visits to vineyards.
If you weren’t working in higher education, what career do you think you’d be pursuing?
I would love to sit down with Ronald Reagan. He was the first president I got to vote for and I still have a campaign button! I have done a little study on him, and I feel like he was so much more than a retired actor. He truly loved his country!
If you weren’t working in higher education, what career do you think you’d be pursuing?
Probably some type of sales. I always enjoy the one on one with people, and I love sharing things I am excited about - that's why it's been so fun to be able to share Berry College!
