Favorite spot on campus: My favorite spot on campus has to be our Mountain Campus or specifically the piano in Frost Chapel!
Favorite thing to do in Rome: I love to participate in a production at Rome Little Theatre then go grab food at Jerusalem Grill or Waffle House and then walk it off with a hike through our river walkway.
What was your favorite college course, and why did it leave a lasting impression?
Too many! My senior year I took an Orienteering class where we were put in the middle of the woods and had to use a compass to find markers and make it back to our car. I would also say Econometrics. I loved getting to apply data and statistical analysis to potential policy ideas or world issues.
What’s your favorite Berry event or campus tradition?
As a Berry student, it is a right of passage to "fall" in our reservoir at least once. It is a beautiful hike, especially during the fall or spring seasons it is a great polar plunge or hammock spot!
If you could travel anywhere for a week, where would you go and what would you do there?
Australia, specifically Melbourne! The coast and rural landscape is so beautiful and unique, but I also just love their accents.
If you could have dinner with a historical figure, who would it be and why?
Since Taylor Swift isn't yet historic... I would say a different theologian, C.S. Lewis. He has a brilliant and creative mind to explain the most complex issues in a beautiful way.
If you weren’t working in higher education, what career do you think you’d be pursuing?
Anything in business or marketing! I love being creative but if I had all the time in the world I would love to become a nurse.
