the new Berry College Digital Archives Website IS Live
The Berry College Archives was established in 1986 and serves as the primary repository for materials pertaining to the Berry Schools, Berry College, and founder, Martha Berry. The principal purpose of the Archives is to appraise, collect, preserve, maintain, and make accessible records of historical value. In addition, the Archives seeks to educate its constituents about its holdings, policies and procedures through outreach and instructional activities.

BCDA contains a growing collection of documents and photographs. Two Digital Library of Georgia sub-grants allowed the Archives to digitize Berry’s first periodical the Southern Highlander.
MBDA is a collaborative project of faculty, staff, and students at Berry College and Bloomsburg University to make the Martha Berry Collection available as a free, interactive, searchable, and extensible educational resource designed to enable teachers, researchers, students, and members of the larger community to study and learn from it.
