Assistant Professor of Kinesiology
Dr. Kameron Suire is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Kinesiology at Berry College. He earned is PhD in Kinesiology from Auburn University and has expertise in physical activity promotion using a variety of techniques. He then completed his post doc with the University of Kansas Medical Center to utilize these techniques among individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His research focuses on increasing physical activity adherence to address the obesity epidemic. He has experience in using motivational interviewing for behavior change in weight-related behaviors. He also has utilized the latest exergame technology to investigate physiological and psychological responses.
