Brian conducts research studies on the ethics of loving and being loved. He tries to understand what it means to embrace responsibility in intimate relationships, radiate respect, practice fairness, be appropriately loyal and care in ways that matter. He views love as a form of power because of the force it has on those who are loved but also because of the way love can transform those who choose to love.
