Event Description
Presenter: Dr. John Barge - State Superintendent
of Schools. Dr. John Barge was born and raised in Cobb County, Georgia,
graduated from Campbell High School in 1984, and attended Berry College in
Rome, Georgia on academic and journalism scholarships where he earned his
bachelor’s degree in 1988.
Dr. Barge will be discussing critical issues in
education at the state and national levels. Dr. Barge will weigh in on trends
and legislation promoting charter schools/districts in Georgia. As Georgia
public schools go, so goes Georgia. A Q&A time will follow Dr. Barge’s presentation. |
